A Forest: Digital Painting in Photoshop
Digital painting is something I have done only occasionally. Graphic design and photography have always been faster and, if I'm honest, probably easier for me.
This piece was created in Bucharest as part of a concept art exercise: imagining the kind of forest where Snow White might lose her way. Made in Photoshop in the small one-bedroom apartment where my wife, daughter and I were living at the time.

An influence while creating this digital painting.
I also happened to be listening to "A Forest" by The Cure, so the mood more or less took care of itself.
The dark and slightly mysterious atmosphere was not unusual for me at the time. It has found its way into much of my photography as well.
