Visual Identity and Promotional Design for TILT Improv Festival 2019

Visual identity and promotional campaign created for the TILT improv festival in Tallinn. The project included posters, social media graphics, flyers, name badges, merchandise and promotional materials in both Estonian and English.

With the Tilt poster design, everything was tilted. Even the mockup.

The goal was to create a recognizable and flexible visual identity that captured the playful and spontaneous atmosphere of improvisational theatre while remaining adaptable across a wide range of print and promotional formats throughout the festival campaign. Unexpected twists and turns around every corner.

My role included graphic design, layout preparation, print coordination and campaign asset management across multiple communication materials and production stages.

In 2020, it was exciting enough to see my own designs printed in actual newspapers. Seeing the Walgus logo there among the sponsors/organisers felt like another small milestone.

Coincidentally, another TILT sponsor was Tallinn Folk High School – where I would end up working just a few years later.

The campaign evolved over several months with updated poster versions, revised print runs and additional promotional materials created for different festival events and audiences. Materials were prepared for a variety of applications, including large-format posters, flyers, badges, event signage, social media graphics and promotional merchandise.

Much of the campaign was designed remotely while I was living in Bucharest, Romania, which made the project an interesting mix of long-distance collaboration, print coordination and fast-paced festival communication.
