Portraits of French Horn Player Valdek Põld
Studio portrait series created with Estonian French horn player Valdek Põld, combining classical musician portraiture with detailed studies of the instrument’s metallic forms, surfaces and mechanical structure.
Throughout his career, Valdek has performed as a French horn player in the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, the chamber orchestra of the Estonian National Opera, several wind orchestras, the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra and the Academic Orchestra of Hortus Musicus. He has also performed in the Estonian rock band Mess.
