Tallinn Folk High School Outdoor Autumn Campaign 2025
Sometimes you only have a few seconds to get someone's attention.
For Tallinn Folk High School's autumn 2025 course season, I created an outdoor advertising campaign shown on digital screens across Tallinn. The concept combined simple animation, large typography, our familiar blue and short messages designed to be understood at a glance.

The starting point for this animation came from a conversation with our principal. Every autumn, enormous attention is given to children returning to school. But what about adults? Why should learning stop after graduation?
The Animation
Released during the first week of September, when children return to school, the campaign encouraged adults to keep learning too.
That might mean taking a lifelong learning course, discovering a new creative hobby or simply continuing to develop yourself.
The campaign was built around the line “Lapsed läksid kooli. Aga sina ise?” (“The children went to school. But what about you?”), using a simple seasonal idea that people immediately recognise.
The visual direction followed Tallinna Rahvaülikool’s existing identity, with animated versions prepared for outdoor digital screens.
I also got to take a nice walk around Tallinn city centre, tracking down screens showing the animated ads and photographing them. Seeing the work outside the computer screen is always a useful reminder that outdoor advertising has to communicate quickly, clearly and from a distance.
