VIMM Metal Band Logo and album Design
In April 2023, I was approached by my former high school deskmate Aleksei, who plays guitar in the Estonian black metal band VIMM, to create a logo for the band and visual identity for their debut album. The brief left plenty of creative freedom, while still follwing the band's dark, organic aesthetic.
Although I’ve learned to delegate more and more over the years, this was one project I couldn’t hand over to another designer. I wanted to do it myself.
In addition to the logo, I designed the album packaging and CD artwork.

Illustrations for the album were created by Margit Kunnus, an intern at Walgus, whose detailed drawings inspired by the logo became the visual foundation of the release. My role was to bring everything together into a coherent identity across the logo, packaging and printed materials.
